Ilyushin Il-86

The Ilyushin Il-86 was the first Soviet wide-body airliner, designed for medium- to long-haul routes. It first flew in 1976 and was primarily operated by Aeroflot. The aircraft featured a spacious cabin, robust construction, and built-in boarding stairs for operation at less-equipped airports.
